The Witcher Season 2 finally resumes production!
As it was previously announced, August 2020 was the month when the second season of Netflix’s The Witcher would resume production after a several months of lockdown with Henry Cavill building his own PC, Witcher bake-offs and many more fun things. At first, the schedule to resume filming was on August 3, then it became August 17. As it always happens, schedules change and today, August 12, 2020 is when Season 2 of The Witcher actually continued filming.
Thanks to Stephen Surjik, the director of the first two episodes of the new season, we now know Season 2 of the Witcher is officially a go. Again.
As we reported a few weeks back, production for The Witcher‘s second season will run until February 2021, making August/September 2021 the earliest of the likely release months since they will need around six months for post-production.
As one Northerner once said: “And now it begins.” Redanian Intelligence will keep watching.
