Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, and more now filming The Witcher. Is this an ambush?
Yesterday, photographers grabbed several pictures of Henry Cavill’s Geralt and Royce Pierresen’s Istredd filming The Witcher season two in Frensham, England. Today, we have details of a new scene filmed in the same location, with another leading cast member joining Cavill: Anya Chalotra, our Yennefer of Vengerberg.
Our local source Sara Talib has confirmed that Anya Chalotra’s Yennefer and Henry Cavill’s Geralt were filming together, and she isn’t certain if Pierresen’s Istredd was there or not. Seeing as this is the exact same location as yesterday, it’s likely Istredd was there. Yennefer confronting both of her exes? Sounds interesting.
Talib watched the cast and crew as they filmed this scene, and besides filming and taking pictures she was able to hear some of Yennefer’s lines: “They are not here, can’t you see? Get the horse.” It’s not quite clear who Yennefer is referring to, but Talib has also informed us that Nilfgaardian soldiers were waiting nearby. Later, Talib saw Chalotra’s Yennefer approaching Cavill’s Geralt and saying: “Selfish… Don’t be stupid, you have to come with me. Now!”

Are our main characters being set up? Is this a Nilfgaardian ambush? And is this scene followed by another scene shot at Frensham, where Yennefer and Geralt ride together in a hurry (linked above)? Stay tuned as the story develops.
