Geralt and Yennefer Reunite in New Witcher Promo

It’s less than a month until The Witcher Season 2 premiere and Netflix has begun to roll out lots of promotional material in various forms. One such form is promotional images seen on the streamer itself, with the most interesting and exciting one being Henry Cavill‘s Geralt and Anya Chalotra‘s Yennefer reunited.

These images are different for every Netflix subscriber so there are several other variations with each of the main characters:

The Witcher Season 2 premieres on December 17, 2021 on Netflix with the prequel series Blood Origin sometime in 2022.

Henry Cavill Injury Doesn't Affect Production

By now you've likely heard that Henry Cavill has injured himself during a shoot for The WItcher. United Kingdom media giant The Sun , reported the news first on Cavill's injury. A source close to the show had this to say regarding the injury, "He just suddenly pulled up and was clearly in a lot of pain. It wasn’t clear if an object had hit his leg or it was some sort of hamstring or muscle injury." This took place while Henry was suspended 20 feet in the air for a major scene. While the title of The Sun's article alludes to the production schedule going into chaos, Deadline.com has now also shared the news but notes that any impact to production is not heavily felt due to the coming holiday shut down. The Witcher Season 3 to enter production in early 2022

Everyone is eagerly waiting for The Witcher Season 2 on December 17, but the work on the next season doesn’t stay still and the scripts are being written as we speak. If you recall, Season 3 of The Witcher will have a number of new writers who started their work this July. We were wondering when filming for the next season would begin and now we have a window. Thanks to the newest listing on Production Weekly, we now know that Season 3 of The Witcher is planned to enter production in the first quarter of 2022 . But bear in mind that production schedules are never solid and are always subject to change, especially in a post-covid world.
