With less than 24 hours till The Witcher Season 2, the buzz of excitement has turned into electric anticipation. This season has been in development through a number of pandemic related changes and postponements, but we are finally here!

Netflix has released another set of images from this season, revealing some familiar faces like Dara and Yarpen. What their roles are will soon be revealed, but for the next several hours, please enjoy our image gallery:

It’s been a busy week for Netflix’s The Witcher . We reported about a curious action scene being filmed at Kaer Morhen involving Henry Cavill’s Geralt, Freya Allan’s Ciri along with many new witchers and we followed that up with a report about a number of female characters involved in that storyline as well. Henry Cavill Injury Doesn't Affect Production

By now you've likely heard that Henry Cavill has injured himself during a shoot for The WItcher. United Kingdom media giant The Sun , reported the news first on Cavill's injury. A source close to the show had this to say regarding the injury, "He just suddenly pulled up and was clearly in a lot of pain. It wasn’t clear if an object had hit his leg or it was some sort of hamstring or muscle injury." This took place while Henry was suspended 20 feet in the air for a major scene. While the title of The Sun's article alludes to the production schedule going into chaos, Deadline.com has now also shared the news but notes that any impact to production is not heavily felt due to the coming holiday shut down. The Witcher Season 3 to enter production in early 2022

Everyone is eagerly waiting for The Witcher Season 2 on December 17, but the work on the next season doesn’t stay still and the scripts are being written as we speak. If you recall, Season 3 of The Witcher will have a number of new writers who started their work this July. We were wondering when filming for the next season would begin and now we have a window. Thanks to the newest listing on Production Weekly, we now know that Season 3 of The Witcher is planned to enter production in the first quarter of 2022 . But bear in mind that production schedules are never solid and are always subject to change, especially in a post-covid world.
