The Witcher Season 3 films at Epping Forest near London

The Witcher Season 3 started filming earlier this month in Italy, Slovenia and Croatia with Henry Cavill, Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra and has since returned to England to continue filming at Longcross Studios and at locations around London.

We have learned that last week filming took place at the Epping Forest near London. The site has been closed since early last week for set prep and was being dismantled by the Easter break. As far as we know, the working directors now are Stephen Surjik, who was with them back in Italy and other countries, and Gandja Monteiro, who started her work on The Witcher Season 3 about a week ago.

Since it is a woodland area, we have not been able to get much information on the filming that is happened there, but the photos of the set suggest we’re looking at a camp. Perhaps an elven camp? Let’s take a look!

Meanwhile Tom Canton (Filavandrel) has reunited with his elven wig and pointy ears as he shared on his social media. Speaking of returning characters, Mimi M. Khayisa (Fringilla) too shared her return to the Season 3 sets last week

Liz Carr (Fenn), on the other hand will only return to filming next month as she shared on her Twitter:

The filming schedule for Season 3 is around 21 weeks and is expected to end in late August or early September. We hope to have more news and casting info on Season 3 in the upcoming weeks as the production gets busy.
