The Witcher Season 3 prepares filming in Croatia
After a very exciting week and a half of filming in Italy and Slovenia with Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan and a lot of supporting cast, cast and crew of Netflix’s The Witcher have finally said goodbye to Slovenia and hello to Croatia, the second home of Game of Thrones last decade.
Filming has not started yet as everyone is taking a break, but we know where it will take place: the Zala Stara Baska beach on Krk Island. The crew base is already gathering there as some already took a peek.

What’s interesting is that Krk also has a church dedicated to St. Jerome, just like the Slovenian Nanos plateau, where they filmed a scene with Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer.
