The upcoming season of The Witcher just recently passed a significant milestone, having largely wrapped half of its episodes last week. But today is a new day for the Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan series as filming continues in Wales on a new location.

The Witcher Films at Three Cliffs Bay

Filming for the new week began right on Monday morning at the beach of Three Cliffs Bay. As you can see in the photos below, quite a bit of activity.

Sadly, one can’t properly see much, but if you squint, there may be a few people visible who wear dresses. Could one of them be Anya Chalotra‘s Yennefer?

Is that Yennefer?

Later, closer to the afternoon, filming moved from the beach to the cliffs above:

It’s difficult to say who and what is filming, but we do know Mahesh Jadu is in Wales, so we can only assume Vilgefortz and very likely other mages are involved.

Perhaps since Vilgefortz is involved, maybe that is indeed Yennefer in the black dress and with dark loose hair in the images above? Hopefully we’ll get more images with the cast soon to see for certain who is and isn’t there.

Filming in Three Cliffs Bay is expected to take place two more days, so here’s hoping.

Season 3 of The Witcher is in production until September 2022 for a 2023 release. The live-action prequel The Witcher: Blood Origin is in post-production after two weeks of reshoots and is currently eyed for a Christmas 2022 release.
