The Sandman Finally Renewed for Season 2

Netflix’s latest fantasy series The Sandman starring Tom Sturridge, Gwendoline Christie, Jenna Coleman and more, has been a massive hit this and fans all over the world are eagerly awaiting for the renewal of the series for Season 2, especially since the first season was released in August and the silence from the studio on this matter has been quite deafening. Apparently, no longer!

A deleted tweet from DC spills the beans

It has been known to happen, whether by chance of miscommunication between PR companies, who run social media accounts for big entertainment entities, that some announcements are made earlier than intended and as a result, everyone ends up knowing.

Such is the case here, when DC accidentally posted the following tweet earlier today:

sandmandd

The tweet was, of course, immediately deleted, but even a minute is too late as too many people saw it and got their screenshots.

By deleting the tweet, DC doesn’t walk back The Sandman‘s Season 2 renewal, of course. The official announcement will inevitably come very soon. Perhaps the same day, perhaps the next day, but it is now known.
