House of the Dragon Season 2 Filming Harrenhal Scenes

Production of second season of the hit series House of the Dragon is already in full gear starting earlier this month and everyone is eager to learn a little bit more about it. As such, we do have a new morsel of information to digest.

We’ve been informed that among the footage that is currently being shot are scenes located in the castle of Harrenhal. We last saw the haunting castle in the second half of the first season, when the Strongs met their untimely end.

We don’t know what exactly is being filmed in Harrenhal these days, but just going by logic it could likely involve Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) taking the castle and the aftermath of that.

Daemon is also to meet Alys Rivers there as per a now-deleted audtion tape from Emily Beecham. In it, Alys patches an injured Daemon up, but has a reasonable amount of pleasure in teasing him about his personal and public life.

We still don’t know who plays Alys in House of the Dragon, but we sure hope to find out soon.

House of the Dragon Season 2 is in production for a 2024 release at HBO. Follow Redanian Intelligence for more news on House of the Dragon as well as other series.

Henry Cavill Injury Doesn't Affect Production

By now you've likely heard that Henry Cavill has injured himself during a shoot for The WItcher. United Kingdom media giant The Sun , reported the news first on Cavill's injury. A source close to the show had this to say regarding the injury, "He just suddenly pulled up and was clearly in a lot of pain. It wasn’t clear if an object had hit his leg or it was some sort of hamstring or muscle injury." This took place while Henry was suspended 20 feet in the air for a major scene. While the title of The Sun's article alludes to the production schedule going into chaos, Deadline.com has now also shared the news but notes that any impact to production is not heavily felt due to the coming holiday shut down. The Witcher Season 3 to enter production in early 2022

Everyone is eagerly waiting for The Witcher Season 2 on December 17, but the work on the next season doesn’t stay still and the scripts are being written as we speak. If you recall, Season 3 of The Witcher will have a number of new writers who started their work this July. We were wondering when filming for the next season would begin and now we have a window. Thanks to the newest listing on Production Weekly, we now know that Season 3 of The Witcher is planned to enter production in the first quarter of 2022 .
