The Witcher Season 4 Filming Dates Revealed
It’s finally a new year and with it come expectations of various things. In The Witcher world, we have the production of Season 4, among other things, the season where we’ll see Liam Hemsworth step into Henry Cavill’s shoes as Geralt of Rivia.
How long will the filming of The Witcher Season 4 take
Pre-production for The Witcher Season 4 is set to go into full gear very soon after the New Year holidays, but filming is a little further away. As we mentioned earlier, this phase usually takes around 10 weeks give or take.
Now we have another update regarding the filming. As far as we know, filming for The Witcher Season 4 is currently planned to start in March 2024 and last until October 2024.
The wrap date isn’t fully set in stone yet and may be subject to change the closer we get there. If things go very smoothly and ahead of schedule, we may see a September wrap.
With these dates in mind, we’ll reiterate the previous suggestion about the release date of Season 4. Season 3 entered production in March 2022, wrapped in September 2022 and was released in Summer 2023.
Being almost identical to Season 3 in its production timeline, Season 4 releasing in Summer 2025 makes most sense. Nevertheless, we’ll have to wait and see what Netflix has planned.
Andrzej Sapkowski’s new Witcher book has a planned Winter 2024/2025 release with The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep anime set for a late 2024 release as well. Stay tuned to Redanian Intelligence and do pop into our Discord server to join in on The Witcher conversation.
