New Making Of Documentary Released

Witcher fans rejoice! We have unexpected new content to help you through this Coronavirus time! Netflix has announced and released a documentary on the making of The Witcher! In a brief clip on Twitter, we hear from the series creator Lauren Hissrich on how she came to the decision to tell the story of all three character concurrently and out of sequential order. Of course Henry Cavill weighs in on how he wanted the role to begin with and actively sought to get it rather than be approached for it. Just about everyone weighs in via this clip and we know fans will love watching the documentary on seeing how the most popular show in the world was created! Check it out on Netflix right now!

We reported about a curious action scene being filmed at Kaer Morhen involving Henry Cavill’s Geralt, Freya Allan’s Ciri along with many new witchers and we followed that up with a report about a number of female characters involved in that storyline as well. Henry Cavill Injury Doesn't Affect Production

By now you've likely heard that Henry Cavill has injured himself during a shoot for The WItcher. United Kingdom media giant The Sun , reported the news first on Cavill's injury. A source close to the show had this to say regarding the injury, "He just suddenly pulled up and was clearly in a lot of pain. It wasn’t clear if an object had hit his leg or it was some sort of hamstring or muscle injury." This took place while Henry was suspended 20 feet in the air for a major scene. While the title of The Sun's article alludes to the production schedule going into chaos, Deadline.com has now also shared the news but notes that any impact to production is not heavily felt due to the coming holiday shut down. The Witcher Season 3 to enter production in early 2022

Everyone is eagerly waiting for The Witcher Season 2 on December 17, but the work on the next season doesn’t stay still and the scripts are being written as we speak. If you recall, Season 3 of The Witcher will have a number of new writers who started their work this July. We were wondering when filming for the next season would begin and now we have a window. Thanks to the newest listing on Production Weekly, we now know that Season 3 of The Witcher is planned to enter production in the first quarter of 2022 . But bear in mind that production schedules are never solid and are always subject to change, especially in a post-covid world.
